This spring a new annual Jewish Student Film Festival is being launched at New York University. Sponsored in association with the Bronfman Center for Jewish Life, the purpose of this festival is to select seven short student films from the East Coast area to promote a greater appreciation, acknowledgement, and celebration of Jewish-themed filmmaking.

Held in the historic Greenwich Village, the festival will include industry panelists to determine and award a prize to the first place winner. Notable film scholar and distributor, Eric Goldman, will be the keynote speaker and there will be food and coffee served after a Q&A with the directors.

Please note there will be a $5 recommended donation at the door for the event to cover some of the expenses and to add to the prize of the winner. Open to the public, we hope to see you there!
