Conney Conference on Jewish Arts: Diasporas – April 9-12

In my opinion there is a lot of confusion about what would be “Jewish” art. I would say that if the Jews are a tribe, with therefore genetic likeness,whatever comes out of a member of this tribe has to be considered to be Jewish art. If, however, it would be a religion, with not neccessarily genetic likeness of all concerned, it would have to be considered religious art, and not neccessarily Jewish. Have a nice day.
