Brooklyn Jewish Art Gallery Seeks Submissions For “Passover and the Consequences of Freedom”

Venue: Brooklyn Jewish Art Gallery @ CKI, 603 St. Johns Place, Brooklyn, NY. More info on the gallery here.

Theme: Passover and the Consequences of Freedom.
Maximum dimensions: 48 x 48, ready to hang, all media, but not 3-D.

Curator: Richard McBee.
Co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Jewish Art Gallery @CKI and the Jewish Art Salon.

SUBMISSION INFO:
Deadline January 16, 2016.

A) Email SMALL jpgs (72 dpi, no more than 400 kb)

Save these with your last name (e.g. Greenberg.jpg)

Email to jasexhibits@gmail.com

In subject line: CKI – your name

Larger jpegs will disqualify your entry.

DO NOT submit images to the curator directly please.

Artists will be notified by February 1, 2015.

Exhibit dates: March 10, 2016 (Rosh Chodesh Adar 2) through May 26, 2016 (Lag Ba’Omer).

IMPORTANT:

They may not be able to accept artwork that is mailed. They will review all applications and will decide later if the works can be mailed or need to be delivered at the venue and picked up by the artist or artist’s representative.
Works must be ready to hang, with a wire in the back.

Notes:
All are invited to submit artworks for review, but in case of many entries selected by the curator, those artists affiliated with CKI or those who are members of the Jewish Art Salon will be first in line.

Submission does not guarantee inclusion; the curator will select the artworks and will notify artists by early February.
